Disclaimer: I don’t know anything about this product beyond what I’ve read online. I have NOT backed this Kickstarter campaign. I also don’t normally back Kickstarter campaigns due to the inherent risks in producing a product at scale. (Yes I had a bad experience with a campaign that failed.)

Having said that, The Flair GO looks great and is coming from a well known manufacturer which lends itself significant credibility. Regardless, whether you want to back it nor or wait till its available at retail and pay a bit more for the assurance its been manufactured and well reviewed prior to purchase, the choice is yours.

I currently own a Breville Bambino Plus and its a solid espresso maker and cheaper and much more expensive machines on the market.

This Flair GO product is aimed at the travel market for those who love espresso and would go to the trouble to carry a portable espresso machine. That’s not me, at least not yet. I’m still on the fence as to its taste and texture which many people love yet I’m not one of them yet.

The TLDR is its priced at $149 USD (~$201 Canadian) + $54 USD (~73 CAD) in Shipping, Import Duties and Taxes (To Canada), for my US friends, shipping is free and tax is only applicable in California.

I think Flair NEO or Flair Classic are amazing starter level machines. The reviews are generally very positive. The main drawback on the NEO is that its plastic (ultralight polymer blend). The Classic is made from cast aluminum and stainless steel.
