Koffi Coffee Review

Roastery and Cafe from Palm Springs, California

With how specialty coffee and roasteries being in many large and suburban cities, the opportunities to have excellent freshly roasted coffee hasn’t been this good.

I was in Palm Springs, California, early October and happen to come upon the Grand Opening of a REI Rancho Mirage and Koffi Coffee was giving away free coffee. I tried both the regular and decaf and they were excellent. In speaking with the gentlemen operating the booth, I found out the roastery was within walking distance of the conference I was attending.

Being a coffee enthusiast I couldn’t not visit the cafe and shop. There was a wide selection of blends and single origin coffees. I ended up with beans from Papau New Guinea and Ethiopia.

The New Guinea is fantastic and would highly recommend. I was taking a look at their website, it looks like the packaging has changes and the tasting notes differ from the below however I’d say its likely excellent as well. They also recommend this coffee as a cold brew and I could see how it would be a great tasting cold brew as well.

Roasting Date. Love it.

I like many of you have a diverse set of hobbies and interests that wax and wane with time. The great thing about coffee consumption is that while its a daily occurrence, my slowed down, easy-going and pour-over practice isn’t daily.

I still rock an automatic drip Grind & Brew that I consume a standard North American medium-dark blend daily.

Have a stellar week and look forward to updating you with what else I’ve been up on my coffee journey.
